Bushwick bandits rob passenger inside parked vehicle

The NYPD released on Wednesday night an image of a suspect wanted for robbing a man inside a parked car in Bushwick two days earlier.

According to authorities, the incident occurred at 4:15 p.m. near the corner of Greene and Evergreen avenues.

Reportedly, the 49-year-old male victim was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle parked at the location when the two suspects approached.

One of the perpetrators—described by police as a black male between 20 and 30 years old with a medium build—displayed a firearm and demanded cash from the victim. The other suspect—described as a black male between 20 and 30 years old with a thin build—stood near the car, acting as a lookout.

Authorities said the first suspect removed $2,000 in cash from the victim; the crooks then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Officers from the 83rd Precinct responded to the incident; there were no injuries.
