MANHATTAN — Times Square Previews Christmas: The Rockettes costumed as rag dolls or toy soldiers danced in front of Radio City Music Hall on Thursday, performing “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers” and the “Rag Doll” scene from the “The Radio City Christmas Spectacular.” The brief promotional event happens every year in August, snarling traffic and amusing tourists, to remind patrons that the show will begin Nov. 13 and that tickets are currently on sale.
