Man wanted for sexual assault in Sunset

Cops are looking for the man they say attempted to rape a 34-year-old woman in Sunset Park on Monday, July 20.

According to police, the woman was entering her building on 16th Street at around 4 a.m. when the suspect approached her from behind and asked her to let him into the building. The woman, knowing that the suspect did not live in the building, refused.

The suspect then exposed himself to the victim before pushing her to the floor and fleeing the scene.
