EXCLUSIVE: 68th Precinct nabs suspected perp in series of burglaries

The 68^th Precinct believes it has solved a burglary pattern occurring on 98^th Street between Marine Avenue and Shore Road.

On Monday, August 3, Detective Mario Carballera of the precinct’s Detective Squad, arrested 17-year-old Pedro Hernandez, a Sunset Park resident, who confessed to four home burglaries in the area.

Cops say that Hernandez has a “substantial criminal history.” He was caught, according to a police source, as a result of eyewitness testimony and prints left at the scene.
