The Brooklyn Hospital Center wins Hospitals & Health Networks’ ‘Most Wired’ award for 2015

One of Only Fifteen Hospitals in New York State to Receive Award

The Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC) has been awarded Hospitals & Health Networks’ ”Most Wired” Award for 2015. The award recognizes the hospital’s commitment to infrastructure design, investment in, and direction for the TBHC wired network. The Brooklyn Hospital Center is one of only 15 hospitals in New York State to be recognized by Hospitals & Health Networks

The nation’s hospitals are increasingly turning to information technology to deliver integrated, patient-centric care. The “Most Wired” Award honors hospitals such as The Brooklyn Hospital Center that have made great strides in these fields. This is the 17th year that Hospitals & Health Networks is presenting the “Most Wired” honors.

“As healthcare technology continues to change, we must change with it in order to ensure that our patients are receiving high-quality, cutting-edge care,” said interim hospital President and CEO Jonathan Weld in a statement. “The Brooklyn Hospital Center is dedicated to continuing to improve our technology and the Hospitals & Health Networks’ ‘Most Wired’ Award is recognition of our industry-leading practices and commitment to 21st-century care.”

We are pleased that our hospital continues to invest in these leading technologies,” Moran stated.
