Goldman Sachs recently hosted a celebration for pediatric cancer patients at Maimonides Medical Center, with help from Make-A-Wish Metro New York and the Maimonides Child Life Program.

“The volunteers created a joyous experience for our patients,” said Lenia Batas, Director of the Maimonides Child Life Program. “These children spend so much of their time in a hospital setting dealing with illness that this afternoon’s party was the perfect antidote for them and their families.”

The afternoon was filled with arts and crafts, a dress-up photo booth, Zumba dance activities and entertainment by Freckle Speckle the Clown. The celebration concluded with an award presentation honoring the children and their families.
