MTA: Weekend subway service advisory for R train

Due to capital construction work on the MTA New York City Transit subway system, this weekend will see service changes on several lines, including the R.

This work is part of NYC Transit’s ongoing Capital Rebuilding Program aimed at upgrading and maintaining our tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service.

From 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19, Forest Hills-71 Av bound R trains run express in Queens.

In addition, from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19, Brooklyn-bound R trains skip 49 St.
