Stars come out for Democratic dinner

Democrats turned out en masse to celebrate one local political club and its honorees at the 2015 Stars & Stripes dinner dance in Dyker Heights.

Honored at the Wednesday, June 24 event which was hosted by District Leaders Joe Bova and Betty Ann Canizio, were attorney Joseph Rosato, of the Catholic Lawyer’s Guild; Debra Poulos, the Brooklyn borough representative of the United Federation of Teachers; Lily Wang, the founder of the Brooklyn Asian Voice Organization, and Carlo Scissura, president and CEO of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.

Among the crowd present at Sirico’s, 8023 13th Avenue, were Councilmembers Vincent Gentile and David Greenfield, Public Advocate Letitia James, Borough President Eric Adams and Kings County Democratic Chair Frank Seddio.
