Seven women who are part of the Investors Bank Bike 4 Friendship Cycling Team pedaled down 13th Avenue in Borough Park to complete a 650-mile fundraising trek on July 8.  They were raising funds for Friendship Circle, a Jewish organization that helps children with special needs and has a chapter in Crown Heights.

The cyclists began their ride in West Bloomfield, Mich., a suburb of Detroit, on June 28 and pedaled 60 to 70 miles per day. Three of the women, Rassy Holt, Dorit Gafni and Vicky Ross, also completed tours in 2013 and 2014.

As the group crossed the finished line near the Investors Bank branch on 13th Avenue and 47th street, friends and other bicyclists greeted them and showered them with confetti and silly string.
