Irani, human resource development minister, allegedly misrepresented her educational qualification while Swaraj allegedly assisted Lalit Modi, a cricket administrator who fled the country to evade corruption charges.

MADRID — Fountain Helps Kids Cool Down: Children play as they cool down in a fountain beside the Manzanares River on Saturday. Weather stations across the country are warning people to take extra precautions as a heat wave engulfs much of the country, increasing the risk of wildfires. The country’s meteorological agency says a mass of hot air originating in Africa is moving north, bringing with it temperatures reaching 40 C (104 F).
