NEW DELHI — Protestors Lead Chants: Supporters of the Aam Aadmi Party, or Common Man’s Party, shout slogans during a protest against Bharatiya Janata Party leaders Smriti Irani and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, on Monday. Irani, human resource development minister, allegedly misrepresented her educational qualification while Swaraj allegedly assisted Lalit Modi, a cricket administrator who fled the country to evade corruption charges.

MADRID — Fountain Helps Kids Cool Down: Children play as they cool down in a fountain beside the Manzanares River on Saturday. Weather stations across the country are warning people to take extra precautions as a heat wave engulfs much of the country, increasing the risk of wildfires. The country’s meteorological agency says a mass of hot air originating in Africa is moving north, bringing with it temperatures reaching 40 C (104 F).
