This is what Coney Island looks like without crowds
Eye On Real Estate

These photos are for fellow Brooklynites who are chained to their desks today.
On June weekdays while the public schools remain in session, the Coney Island shoreline is especially enchanting. It’s eerily uncrowded — as though the Boardwalk and manicured beach were made just for a small cadre of privileged people with freedom to roam in the middle of the workday.
Nothing makes us happier than seeing huge throngs at this beloved beach. We want people to enjoy this swath of Atlantic Ocean coastline — and spend lots of money to bolster businesses whose owners fought hard to rebuild after being beaten up by that vile witch, Superstorm Sandy.
Nevertheless, because there are summery days when Coney Island is quiet, we wanted to capture that phenomenon in photos for our readers to see.
