Tonight and tomorrow evening, the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership and Ralph McDaniels, founder of Video Music Box, will host the Fulton Mall Remix. Remix is a two-night extravaganza of music, art, dance and fashion celebrating Fulton Mall’s rich cultural history and Downtown Brooklyn’s legacy as an urban music and fashion mecca, at Albee Square.

On Thursday evening, Biz Markie will return to the location he made famous in the lyrics to his song, “Albee Square Mall,” for a DJ set, alongside Rahzel, a Grammy Award-winning artist formerly of the Roots, who will be beatboxing.

The event will also feature Cut Master DC, Kwikstep, Jamel Shabazz, and James Top. Many stores on the Mall will stay open later to accommodate visitors.
