Brooklyn attorney becomes president of NYS Women’s Bar Association
Andrea F. Composto, Esq., of the Law Offices of Composto & Composto in Brooklyn, was installed as the 33rd President of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY) at its Annual Convention which was held on May 16 at The Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing.
“I am humbled and honored to be installed as the president of WBASNY for the 2015-16 year,” Composto said. “WBASNY is filled with over 4,100 leaders; women and men who fight for our clients and are motivated by what is just and fair for women in society. Our legal community and our legislature look to us for guidance through our experience and our knowledge of the laws that impact women and children, and I will strive every day to lead WBASNY into another successful year of advancing our mission.”
A graduate of Albany Law School (Class of 2002), Andrea was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2003 and to the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Southern districts of the Federal Court. In 2006, Andrea was admitted to the United States Supreme Court.
