This Saturday and Sunday, the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) is hosting “Bleu!” from Italian company Compagnie T.P.O.

The kid-friendly, educational show — a co-production with Teatro Metastasio Stabile della Toscana, Marseilles European Capital of Culture 2013 & Mercat de les Flors of Barcelona — is an interactive blend of environmental performance and immersive technology.  The actors invite audience members to join them on their underwater adventures. Kids will learn about the ocean’s power and biodiversity firsthand as they chart a course in the night sky and ride waves in a storm encountering a host of animals, shells, stones and adventures along the way.

Artistic direction for the show is by Francesco Gandi and Davide Venturini, and it is choreography by Anna Balducci.
