CALIFORNIA — Aztec Dancer Joins Protest: Aztec dancers join Los Angeles community members to demand that Hillary Rodham Clinton oppose the Trans-Pacific Partnership and Trade Promotion Authority known as “The Fast Track,” in Beverly Hills on Thursday. Clinton is spending Thursday at three private fundraisers around LA, with tickets costing $2,700 per person. The front-runner for the Democratic nomination is on a three-day swing through California.

UKRAINE — Worker Installs Wreath on Motherland Monument: A worker installing a wreath of poppies as a red peak and ribbon on top of the 102-meter Motherland Monument in Kiev on Friday, to mark the anniversary of the defeat of the Nazis in WWII. Ukraine is for the first time this year marking two holidays for the WWII victory anniversary, with a day of remembrance on May 8 and Victory Day on May 9.
