
Brooklyn Historical Society’s Library Dinner raises more than $290K

The Brooklyn Historical Society (BHS) on April 14 raised a record amount of more than $290,000 at its 11th Annual Library Dinner. The event and honored Brooklynites Joanne Witty, a director of the Brooklyn Bridge Corporation and Eugene Keilin, co-founder of KPS Capital Partners, LP and Keilin & Co. LLC.
More than 125 guests were welcomed to cocktails in the interior landmarked Othmer Library and dinner in the Great Hall, where they were treated to a special presentation prepared by Dr. Linda Gordon, Professor of Humanities and History at NYU. The evening was dedicated to the late Board of Trustee member Gina Ingoglia Weiner, a beloved botanical writer, illustrator and volunteer. Supporters included KPS Capital Partners, Goldman Sachs & Co., Two Trees Management Co. LLC, Municipal Credit Union and HR & A Advisors.
