Between Monday, March 30 and Saturday, April 4, the 68th Precinct received reports of three burglaries, one grand larceny and one robbery. The 68th Precinct serves Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights and Fort Hamilton.

HIT AND RUN

On Monday, March 30 at around 9:20 p.m., a victim was walking near Third Avenue and 94th Street, when a known male perp approached and demanded money, saying he wouldn’t kill him if he complied.

The perp then showed the victim a firearm located inside his jacket, struck the victim in the face, stole $200 and fled in a dark SUV.

COWARD THIEF

A woman was walking near Fort Hamilton Parkway and 71st Street on Thursday, April 2 around 8:30 p.m. when an unknown male approached her, snatched $100 worth of property from her hand and fled the scene on foot.

BACK IN TIME

On Monday, March 30 at approximately 4 a.m., an unknown perp broke into a residence near 11th Avenue and 74th Street through the side basement window.

According to the victim, who heard footsteps and scared the perp out of the residence, the perp stole jewelry, including a Bulova watch, earrings and gold rings valued at approximately $550, before fleeing through the rear door.

RUNNING SCARED

A woman claims unknown perps entered her residence near Fourth Avenue and 97th Street through the bedroom window on Friday, April 3 at approximately 10 p.m.

Cops say the victim heard the perps in the spare bedroom. When she entered, she saw two people wearing ski masks running away.

MISSING JEWELS

Some time between 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 28 and 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, an unknown perp entered a home near Fourth Avenue and Bay Ridge Parkway through the rear window and stole approximately $36,000 worth of jewelry.
