David Sedaris, one of today’s most influential writers, is coming to Brooklyn to celebrate the paperback release of his latest collection, “Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls.” The NPR humorist and esteemed author of numerous No. 1 New York Times bestsellers, including “Me Talk Pretty One Day” and “Naked,” Sedaris will appear at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) on May 12-13 .

Sedaris will discuss his work, including new material, followed by a Q&A session and book signing. The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Peter Bay Sharp Building/Howard Gilman Opera House. See bam.org for tickets.
