Ringo Starr will close his North American All Starr Tour at Brooklyn’s own Kings Theater on Saturday, October 31, as part of the re-mastered Flatbush Avenue venue’s inaugural year.

The former Beatle’s appearance in Brooklyn will follow the March 31 release of his new album, “Postcards From Paradise,” and his April 18 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In addition, on September 21, Starr’s book Photograph (Genesis Publications), containing photos from his archive dating back to his childhood, will be put into wide release.

Originally constructed in 1929, the Kings Theatre – the largest of its kind in Brooklyn, and one of New York’s five “Wonder Theaters” – checked tickets for the first time in more than 40 years on Tuesday, January 3 for An Evening with Diana Ross.
