NYPD seeks public’s assitance in identifying suspect connected to two Grand Larcenies

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the following suspect wanted in connection with a Grand Larceny pattern.

On Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at approximately 2 p.m., a 36-year-old female who lives in the vicinity of Bay 35th Street and Bath Avenue, in the confines of the 62nd Precinct, discovered that her personal information had been used to make several fraudulent debit card purchases in Manhattan.

And on Saturday, November 29, 2014 also at approximately 2 p.m., a 31-year-old male who lives in the vicinity of 88th Avenue and Pontiac Street, in the confines of the 105th Precinct, discovered that his personal information had been used to make several fraudulent debit card purchases in Manhattan.

In both incidents, the victims remained in possession of their debit cards. The fraudulent purchases, made on various dates, occurred inside Duane Reade stores located at 71 West 23rd Street, in the confines of the 13th Precinct, and at 485 Lexington Avenue, in the confines of the 17th Precinct.

Anyone with information in regard to this pattern is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
