Celebrate Valentine’s Day in Brooklyn
Love is in the air in Brooklyn-style.
Valentine’s Day has once again crept up on love birds across the borough. Although buying chocolates and other gifts is on the agenda, finding the perfect place to take your date can be a challenging task. It can be costly and takes plenty of planning. Luckily, Brooklyn has plenty of options, both traditional and unique, where love can blossom while having a great time.
If you and your date are into art or music, the Brooklyn Museum, 200 Eastern Parkway, has an enticing offer. On Saturday, February 14 from 1-4p.m., the venue is offering galleries ‘through the lens of love.’ The day will include exhibits, a Pop-Up Sensory tour, and complimentary snacks courtesy of Salty Road, which is providing its special edition Sweet & Spicy cinnamon drops. At 2 and 3:30 p.m., there will be musical performances by the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra. For more information, visit www.brooklynmuseum.org or call 718-638-5000.
