The recently renovated Kings Plaza Mall was on full display Thursday evening, January 16, as The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce held its bimonthly networking event at the shopping center as part of its ongoing effort to promote its members and foster business relationships in the borough.

Around 100 people attended the Chamber Visits Mill Basin event, said Brooklyn Chamber President and CEO Carlo Scissura. Chamber members and non-members alike “got to see how great the new Kings Plaza looks,” Scissura said.

“The Chamber Visits events take the Chamber to other parts of the borough to bolster the community and its businesses,” said Scissura.

Founded in 1918, The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce has grown to “become the largest chamber in the state,” Scissura said.

The Chamber provides services such as financial assistance, recruitment and training, real estate development, and affordable health insurance to over 2,000 businesses across the borough.

The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce holds numerous events throughout the year to “connect members, business leaders and individuals across Brooklyn.” Visit its website at www.ibrooklyn.com to learn more.
