The New York Police Department says a suspect is being questioned in connection with an assault on officers during a Brooklyn Bridge protest last weekend.

The man, accompanied by his attorney, turned himself in on Thursday. Charges were pending.

Police say they also have strong leads on other suspects.

The NYPD released photos of seven suspects on Tuesday and offered a $12,000 reward for help finding them.

Police say an amateur video shows the suspects pushing, kicking and punching the officers.

Tens of thousands of demonstrators turned out for the march on Saturday. It followed a grand jury’s decision not to indict a police officer in the apparent chokehold death of Eric Garner.
