Brooklyn blaze leaves one dead in Sheepshead Bay

A two-alarm Brooklyn blaze left one man dead in the early morning hours of Monday, December 15.

The 61st Precinct responded to a 911 call of a residential fire inside 1836 East 29th Street, in Sheepshead Bay, at 3:51 a.m, officials said. Upon arrival, cops discovered that the fire department had extinguished the blaze and had found 66-year-old Shewming Seto, a resident, to be unconscious and unresponsive.

The man was pronounced dead on arrival by EMS.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
