Man found dead in waterway near Bay Parkway

On Friday, December 12, 2014 at approximately 10:20 a.m. in the confines of the 62nd Precinct, police responded to the waterway near Bay Parkway and the Belt Parkway. Upon arrival officers discovered a 39-year-old male to be unconscious and unresponsive floating in the water.

The male was removed from the water by the NYPD’s Harbor Patrol and was pronounced deceased by EMS at the scene. The investigation is ongoing and the Medical Examiner shall determine the cause of death.
