CELL STORE STEAL

On Thursday, November 13 around 7:15 p.m., three black men allegedly entered a phone store near 70^th Street and 13^th Avenue displaying a black firearm. According to cops, one perp told the employee to “get in the back or I’ll shoot,” at which point the perps asked, ‘Where are the phones?’”

The employee then told the perps that there were no phones, and the three men instructed him to “get the cash.” The unknown suspects took $100 and fled the scene.

STRIKE!

Sometime between 10 and 10:15 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, a 35-year-old Asian man was walking near the corner of 10^th Avenue and 62^nd Street when three unknown black men allegedly approached him from behind, struck him on the left side of the face and snatched his iPhone 6.

The victim suffered lacerations while the perps also made off with his brown Coach wallet, one debit card, one credit card and $50. The suspects fled eastbound on 62^nd Street.

OUTNUMBERED

On Sunday, November 16 between 2:25 and 2:45 a.m., a local resident was walking on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Senator Street when four unknown black men allegedly approached him from behind and kicked him to the ground. According to cops, the perps then punched and kicked the victim, while taking his iPhone and headphones from his hand.

The suspects then fled the scene.

CHA-CHING

A local resident, 39, living near Fort Hamilton Parkway and 73^rd Street, left his home on Thursday, November 13 around 3 p.m. When he returned at 5 p.m., he found that an unknown perp had broken into the residence through the basement door, and removed $55,400 in cash from his bedroom.

62^nd Precinct

Between Tuesday, November 11 and Monday, November 17, the 62^nd Precinct received reports of four felony assaults, three burglaries, six grand larcenies and two robberies. The 62^nd Precinct serves Bensonhurst, Bath Beach and Gravesend.

HOME HARASSMENT

A 36-year-old Hispanic man was robbed at knifepoint while walking home along New Utrecht Avenue near Bay Ridge Parkway at around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, said police. The suspect, a Hispanic male in his mid-30s, demanded money, but as the victim had none, he pushed the victim and fled.

Police arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly threatening another man with a pair of scissors while demanding money on a northbound D train at around 1:40 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11. The train was at the 79^th Street station when the altercation happened and the conductor kept the train doors closed until police could arrive. The suspect had the victim’s wallet, $300 and MetroCard on him when arrested.

PHARMACY PILFER

Three black men allegedly broke into a Walgreens pharmacy on 86^th Street off 15^th Avenue at around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 16, and stole blood glucose test strips, said police. The three suspects escaped in a blue Chevy van.

UMBRELLA ATTACKS

Police are searching for a man who reportedly hit a 59-year-old Asian man with an umbrella as he walked home near 21^st Avenue and 70^th Street at around 9 p.m. on Monday, November 17. The victim sustained a cut to his finger.

Police arrested a 46-year-old Asian woman for allegedly hitting her husband on the head with an umbrella during an argument shortly after midnight on Thursday, November 13 inside their 85^th Street home.

BROKEN DOORS

Someone broke into a home on 63^rd Street between Bay Parkway and 23^rd Avenue at around 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 14 and stole various electronics, said police. The thieves broke through the front door lock in order to gain entry.

Someone stole jewelry from a West First Street home near Quentin Road at around 10:40 a.m. on Thursday, November 13, said police. The suspect forced open the rear door to gain entry.
