Brooklyn-based author Charles A. Archer recently celebrated the release of his latest book, “Everybody Paddles: A Leader’s Blueprint For Creating A Unified Team.”

Born and raised in an underserved community in Brooklyn, Charles shares in his book the six principles he has applied to his life to achieve personal success, which includes building a New York-based organization with an annual revenue of $25 million.

On Nov. 13, Archer spoke at a book launch event in Soho, discussing how his text examines his principles for company/enterprise achievements and features the accounts from other successful New Yorkers. The foreword was written by Peter Borish, Chairman and CEO of Computer Trading Corporation. Contributors include Stacie Henderson, VP of Marketing at the Westfield World Trade Center, which opens in late 2014; and Guy Stanley Philoche, an acclaimed New York-based artist, whose clients include Uma Thurman, George Clooney and Jeff Koons. Along with Archer, they share their personal journey and secrets to success.
