DUMBO’s Washington Street is where it’s at as far as photographers are concerned.

Whether they’re selfie-snappers or wielders of long-angle lenses, hordes of picture-takers gravitate to the end of the street closest to the Manhattan Bridge.

The intersection of Water Street (or thereabouts) is a prime place to stand. Some folks with serious photographic skills pose their subjects further away, at the intersection of Front Street.

People who want a snapshot that shows off more of the neighborhood stand closer to the Washington Street pedestrian entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge. If the shot’s framed right, it will show the Manhattan Bridge and the iconic Clocktower Building at 1 Main St. as well.
