Kids Expo promises day of family fun

Treat yourself (and your children) to a day of fun with lots of “free” at the Everything Kids Expo on Sunday, November 9. Enjoy one of the largest expos of its kind from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, where everything you need from toddler to tween will be under one gigantic roof.

Just $9 per person gets your children a front-row seat to performances from the Big Apple Circus, face-painting, glitter tattoos and giveaways. You can even enter for a chance to win a Moms, dads, grandparents and even babysitters can get their money’s worth at top-of-the-line vendor booths selling the latest and greatest for the entire family. Learn how to create a healthy salad from Saladmaster. NY Life Insurance will be providing FREE child ID’s.

Speak directly with representatives and experts from top businesses while your youngsters dive into hands-on classes and arts and crafts projects, and join in soccer demonstrations, a puppet show and a live dance performance by Kidville. From info on party places to financial planning, insurance, learning centers and home improvement, there’s something for everyone.

Fun can also be educational, as young scientists can find out at the Museum’s new “More Than Meets The I” exhibit that introduces STEM concepts in biology, health, robotics and technology. The exhibit runs through January 19, 2015 and includes mini-exhibits on 3D printing, robotic fish and other cool innovations.
