Greenpoint’s Cafe Edna had some noisy visitors Tuesday afternoon — but few were complaining. “Madam Secretary,” a new CBS drama about Elizabeth Faulkner McCord, a fictional Secretary of State, was filming their upcoming TV series, which will air in September. Headquartered in Greenpoint, Broadway Stages is a family-run business. Credentials include “The Good Wife,” “Blue Bloods,” “Smash,” “Spiderman 3,” “Rescue Me” and music videos for Kanye West and Jay-Z. The new show stars Téa Leoni and Tim Daly, with its first episode set to debut on Sept. 21, between new episodes of “60 Minutes” and “The Good Wife.”
