At Brooklyn Borough Hall Tuesday morning, President Eric Adams joined Spike Lee, the producer/writer/director of Do the Right Thing, to honor the Academy Award-winning film’s 25th anniversary and announce a free block party to be held this weekend in Bedford-Stuyvesant, which will celebrate its legacy and impact on Brooklyn’s history and the American civil rights movement.
