Each spring, St. Ann’s Warehouse presents Labapalooza – a mini-festival of new puppet theatre from their Puppet Lab.

The puppet lab is now in its 16th year and is an experimental haven for artists developing their projects in puppetry and theatre. Artists work with professionals over nine months to design and work on their projects.

During Labapalooza, artists, composers, writers and designers come together to express their latest work. Some animate films, some use computer graphics while others work with objects or shadows.

The festival runs from May 29th – June 1st with two separate programs.
