In less than six years, Robicelli’s has become synonymous with baked deliciousness, cupcakes and Brooklyn, but now Queens residents and shoppers will also be able to get a hold of things like sea salt brownies, beer bars, ice cream sandwiches and vanilla porter/pretzel/chocolate bars.

That is because the creative and culinary skills of Allison and Matt Robicelli are now available every weekend through the end of the year at the LIC Flea, located at the corner of 46th Avenue and Fifth Street in Long Island City—a short walk from the 7, E, M and G stations.

“So why the LIC Flea? Well, in six years I’d say we’ve gotten more requests to come to Queens than any other place,” wrote Allison on the couple’s website, Robicellis.com. “It’s easily accessible from Manhattan, Long Island, and northern Brooklyn. . .And, most importantly to us, it’s very family friendly.”

Explaining what makes customers keep coming back, Allison noted that “from start to finish, [our baked goods] are made by hand. We do not use any fillings that come from a can—everything begins with real fruit, real dairy, and is made the old fashioned way.”

Whether you’re eating pie and cupcakes or macaroons and bars, “if it’s done right, you should know that somebody loves you,” she added. “And we do love our customers.”

The Robicelli’s tent is located on the left hand side of the LIC Flea, at the second table in.

In addition to returning favorites, Robicelli’s at LIC Flea will also feature weekly specials and will eventually debut new items.

They are also taking pre-orders during the week for custom cakes that can be picked up that Saturday or Sunday. Check out their weekly menus at http://robicellis.tumblr.com/schedule.

For a larger selection, you can also stop by their brick-and-mortar shop at 9009 Fifth Avenue in their native Bay Ridge.
