Here’s an adaptive reuse that’s winning fans.

Ground-floor space in a long-departed Greenpoint glass maker’s factory – which is right up the street from the Greenpoint Landing mega-project site – is now a Middle Eastern restaurant.

The Glasserie, which opened last June at 95 Commercial St., has drawn reviewers’ raves, especially for its rabbit dishes.

The Glasserie has also drawn celebs like director Wes Anderson – who had dinner there in February with “Grand Budapest Hotel” cast members Ralph Fiennes, Adrien Brody and Tony Revolori the night before the film’s Alice Tully Hall premiere, the New York Post‘s Page Six reported.

The original chef recently departed – but the food remains superb. The lamb sandwich we had for brunch the other day was one of the best things we’ve eaten in the past year.

We can’t tell you whether the rabbit is as good as it was when chef Sara Kramer was in charge. It’s a dish that regrettably is on our Can’t Do list. We loved lapin the last time we ate it (at someone else’s restaurant). But later we had nightmares about Beatrix Potter and her friend Peter.
