Bill de Blasio throws Mets’ Opening Day 1st pitch

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has delivered his first ceremonial pitch since taking office.
Clad in a Mets hat and personalized jersey, he threw a soft pitch for a strike over the plate Monday to mark Opening Day against the Washington Nationals.
When introduced, the Democrat was largely booed by the crowd at Citi Field in Queens.
