Marty Golden honors Bishop Kearney’s varsity basketball team as part of Women’s History Month

On Thursday, March 13 as part of Women’s History Month, the Bishop Kearney High School varsity basketball team was honored by State Senator Marty Golden. Golden held an awards ceremony at Kearney to honor Brooklyn women’s groups whose actions have inspired others and who have improved Brooklyn’s quality of life. Kearney was awarded a Proclamation commending the varsity team on their outstanding achievements, which include winning the 2014 Brooklyn/Queens Diocese Championship.
