The owners of this lovable pink elephant, which temporarily graced DUMBO’s Archway plaza under the Manhattan Bridge, are bidding a fond goodbye to their floppy-eared creation.

Here’s the good part: If you can pick up this wooden sculpture yourself, it’s free to keep.

The elephant’s owners add, “Plus, wouldn’t it be cool to take this elephant out on a joy ride all the way home?”

But there is a dark undertone to their posting on Craigslist: “It’d be sad to see our pink friend go out a different way.”

Uh oh.

Anyone who ever wanted a pink elephant better get on their stick and reply to the post at http://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/zip/4368824871.html

The elephant was exhibited in the 2013 Dumbo Arts Festival in Brooklyn. The owners did not respond to a request for comment by press time.
