Pro Bono Barrister: Collegial spirit at Inns of Court fete
As the Kings County American Inn of Court enters its 14th year, the organization ended the calendar year with a Holiday Gala at the Moreso Restaurant in Manhattan. The Kings Inn continues a vital tradition, more than eight centuries old, which originated in England. Inns served as schools for new and would-be barristers and ushered in an era of collegiality among those who appeared before the bar. Enjoying the event are, left to right: Dilia Schack, a Democratic district leader; Marie Lattanzi, former Kings County Inn Administrator, Marty Lattanzi, Hon. Gerard Rosenberg, an Inn founder and former president; Inn Town Crier Chuck Otey, Harriet Rosenberg and Justice Arthur Schack, Inn Counselor and Master.
