AvalonBay’s Downtown Brooklyn tower at 100 Willoughby St., designed by SLCE Architects, is going to be the borough’s tallest building – usurping neighboring 388 Bridge St., which topped out in 2013.

Construction workers are very busy at 100 Willoughby St. these days, digging deep into the earth in the winter chill. A 57-story, 591-foot skyscraper with 826 rental apartments is planned. Imagine the views.
