Beginning on Sunday, January 5, the popular McGolrick Park Farmers Market will spend winter Sundays indoors inside the Lutheran Church of the Messiah, located at 129 Russell Street.

The move was announced by market operator Down To Earth Markets, which touted the temporary relocation as “a community collaboration” that allows residents to have a neighborhood market year-round.

Many vendor favorites are returning for the winter months. These include American Pride Seafood, Horman’s Best Pickles, Orwashers Bakery, Sohha Savory Yogurt, Pie Lady & Son, Stone & Thistle Farm (pasture-raised meats and poultry), Tierra Farm (locally-roasted nuts, coffees, and more), MOMO Dressing and Grown in Brooklyn.

New vendors include Jersey Farm Produce and Migliorelli Farm.

Compost drop-off will continue via BIG!Compost and, in mid-January, will be joined by Green Tree Textile Recycling.

The McGolrick Park Farmers Market is open on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
