Report: Starbucks to Williamsburg

Williamsburg may soon be getting its first Starbucks, according to the CBS Local site

The site quoted Eater NY as reporting that job postings have appeared on the Starbucks Corporation jobs website for a Brooklyn location at 405-409 Union Ave., on the ground floor of the 65 Ainslie St. luxury condo building near the G train’s Metropolitan Avenue station.

The ad says Starbucks is seeking a barista and a supervisor at the new location, according to CBS Local.

Starbucks restaurants are plentiful in Brownstone Brooklyn. There are several in southern Brooklyn, including one at Brooklyn College, and one in East New York. But the closest one to Williamsburg is at 910 Manhattan Ave. in Greenpoint.
