Good morning. Today is the 322nd day of the year. It is the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas. Many older Americans remember vividly where they were when they heard the news. While the Warren Commission in 1964 concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin, by 1979 a congressional investigation concluded that JFK was likely the victim of a conspiracy.

Well-known people who were born today include Hall of Fame tennis player Boris Becker, actress Jamie Lee Curtis (“True Lies,” “A Fish Called Wanda”), actor-writer Terry Gillam of Monty Python, actress Mariel Hemingway (“Manhattan,” “Personal Best”), Hall of Fame tennis player Billie Jean King and actor Robert Vaughn (“The Man From UNCLE”).
