Oh Orly: Say no to sabatoge

Oh Orly,

There is a colleague of mine who appears to be nice but clearly is only out for himself and his own agenda and does not care who he steps on while racing to the top.

How can I do my job and stay out of their way so that he does not sabotage me?

Dear Kelly,

A long time ago, one of my bosses said to me, youre better off with the devil you know than the one you dont.

What does that mean? Well, it means you know that this person only looks out for his own interests and that on the surface he looks nice and is behaving nicely.

Be nice to him in response. Dont share any information that you would not like him to use. Be cordial and supportive. Keep positive and to yourself. Good luck.
