  • six additional trains scheduled between 8-11 p.m. on the 2 and 3 lines from Flatbush and New Lots Avenues into Manhattan and the Bronx,
  • two additional trains for the 9:30-10:30 a.m. rush on the 4 and 5 lines,
  • one additional L train between 8-9 a.m.,
  • seven additional L trains between 7-11 p.m.,
  • two additional E and F trains between 6-6:30 a.m.,
  • three additional evening rush trains (5-8 p.m.) and one less afternoon rush train on the A line.

Some weekend additions will also be made to the L line, with four trains each added between 9-11 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

“Schedule adjustments on routes are part of a continuing effort to review and revise subway schedules so that they accurately meet customer demand and are in compliance with MTA Board-adopted loading guidelines,” explained MTA spokesperson Deirdre Parker about the decision.
