Brooklyn’s Pratt Institute, a global leader in higher education, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to introduce the Brooklyn Fashion and Design Accelerator (BF+DA), a new facility that provides New York City’s creative community with space and resources to transform innovative ideas into successful start-up companies. With funding from the State of New York, the Borough of Brooklyn, and Pratt Institute, the Accelerator will occupy a 15,000-square-foot space in the former Pfizer building in Williamsburg.
