Good morning. Today is the 297th day of the year. The headline of the  Brooklyn Daily Eagle of Oct. 24, 1929, signaled the beginning of the Great Depressio of the 1930s: “Wall Street Panic as Stocks Crash.” The article had the subhead “Stock Crash in Bids To Sell: Billions Lost.”
