Longtime NYC bus driver killed in Brooklyn accident

A veteran New York City bus driver has died following a collision with a tractor-trailer in Brooklyn.

Rosa Eubanks was on her way to work at the Flatbush bus depot on Tuesday when the accident occurred.

Police say she lost control of her vehicle, swiping a car before hitting the truck head-on on Foster Avenue.

The 54-year-old Eubanks was transported to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The truck driver was not injured. The driver of the car was listed in stable condition.

A MTA spokeswoman told the New York Post that Eubanks was a 19-veteran of NYC Transit.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
