DURHAM, N.C,— The Brooklyn Nets will hold their preseason camp at Duke.
The school announced Wednesday that it will host the Nets’ practices in early October. The Nets will arrive in Durham on Sept. 30 and will train from Oct. 1-5 at the Blue Devils’ practice facility.
Nets general manager Billy King played at Duke — where he was captain of a team that reached the 1988 Final Four. He brought the Philadelphia 76ers here several times in the mid-2000s when he was that club’s GM.
The move also brings Mason Plumlee back to Duke. The Nets took the Blue Devils’ big man with the 22nd pick in the draft.
