Fans of Brooklyn restauranteur Colin Devlin and his popular eateries DuMont, DuMont Burger, and the former Dressler, are invited to a fundraiser this Friday, August 16, in support of a scholarship fund recently established for his two children.

The Williamsburg Loves DuMont fundraiser will kick off at 6 p.m. on Friday at Union Pool, 484 Union Avenue, and will feature live music, tacos, and a raffle. All proceeds will go to the Ludivine and Cole Devlin Scholarship Fund.

Featured prizes have been donated by a long list of North Brooklyn businesses, including Allswell, Brooklyn Kitchen, Greenpoint Tattoo Co., The Gutter, Marlow & Sons, and Nitehawk Cinema.

Devlin was found dead in his car, parked near a Pennsylvania cemetery, of a reportedly self-inflicted gunshot wound on July 25. He had gone missing from his Brooklyn home the day before.
