The new American Basketball Association (ABA) team the Brooklyn Blackout will be holding their final tryout this year on Aug. 10th at Aviator Sports and Events Center (Floyd Bennett Field) from 12pm-3pm.

Top-notch players are expected to attend and support for the team is already being shown by almost every classic streetball tournament in the NYC area. The team is also getting support from the Brooklyn community as the team will allow fans to attend the event if they donate non-perishable food items at the door. All food will be donated to a Brooklyn homeless shelter and distributed to those in need. The team’s owner also expects live music performances, and a fan 3-point shootout to win free tickets and more.
